Sky Insurance engaged Open GI for an initial two-phase pilot to cover six lines of business. Sky wanted an improved online offering with enhanced document management and potential aggregator integration. Following the pilot, Sky were looking to roll out the software across other business classes including replacement of a bespoke self-drive hire insurance system.

The project included B2C websites branded to the client’s exact requirements, which called for separate brands for motorcycle, motor and CV. Sky also ordered three add-on products to be sold alongside each different business class, with an insurer specific bordereaux for all three.
