
United Legal Assistance (ULA) is a specialist provider of legal expenses insurance, dedicated to delivering robust protection and high-quality claims handling. In September 2025, ULA officially launched on Add-on Marketplace (AOM), marking a significant step forward in their digital distribution strategy.
The decision to join the Add-on Marketplace was driven by a clear trend: a significant number of ULA’s key brokers had recently joined the Open GI platform. To maintain their high service standards, ULA needed to ensure these brokers could continue to provide legal expenses products without friction.

For many providers, the perceived technical barrier of platform integration can be daunting. However, the onboarding to AOM proved to be remarkably efficient. Despite the sophisticated data mapping required for legal expenses products, the build process was designed for simplicity.
“The build process was very straightforward, even for a layman like me” says Morse-Brown. “We were able to go live quickly, ensuring no disruption to our broker partners while immediately gaining access to Open GI’s platform.”
The launch on AOM has not only strengthened existing broker relationships but has also provided ULA with a scalable foundation to expand their reach. By removing the fragmented journeys of disconnected systems, ULA is empowered to focus on product innovation rather than administrative hurdles.
