Wrightway Introduce Efficiency Savings for Open GI Brokers

Wrightway Underwriting Limited is converting all of its manual motor policies to Full Cycle EDI by using Open GI’s Renewal Refresh functionality to create significant workflow productivity benefits to Open GI brokers in Ireland.

As Ireland’s largest underwriting agency, Wrightway is leading the way to create more efficiency savings to their Open GI broker base by introducing new Renewal Refresh functionality. Traditionally, brokers have had to rely heavily on receiving renewal documentation through the post then manually rekeying data into their Core Back-Office in order to process and accept renewals.  With Renewal Refresh, brokers will now automatically receive an electronic invite message to alert them to which motor policies to renew and process.   For brokers, this will mean a significant reduction in the time to process motor renewals, improving their level of customer service and generating considerable workflow efficiencies without having to rekey data.

David Farrell, IT Manager, Wrightway Underwriting Limited, said: “We were keen to work with Open GI due to the continued increase in brokers using the platform and their expertise in the delivery of Full Cycle EDI.

We pride ourselves in innovation and we see this new introduction for automated motor renewal rates as a significant break-through for brokers to aid customer service and workflow efficiencies.”

David Kelly, Distribution Director, Open GI, commented: “For motor insurance, this new solution helps brokers meet competitive pressures as they are now able to process policies in the shortest time possible.  Automating this process, will negate the need for brokers manually rekeying data into their Back-Office system, saving valuable time and creating workflow efficiencies. Wrightway has a very proactive approach to electronic trading and we are pleased to support the launch of this Full Cycle EDI solution for motor renewals.”
