Fresh! Insurance is the latest broker to use Open GI’s document fulfilment solution, Open Print Manager, to issue motor insurance certificates electronically.
The Midlands-based call centre broker implemented the solution in response to recent legislation permitting the electronic delivery of motor insurance certificates.
Since using Open Print Manager, Fresh! has experienced huge cost savings, whilst improving client service. One of the solution’s key benefits is its ability to convert system generated documents to PDF for emailing.
Mark Powis, Operations Director, Fresh! Insurance said: “Around 50 of our staff have been using Open Print Manager for the last two months and we’re already experiencing substantially reduced print costs in terms of paper, consumables and time taken for staff visits to printer stations. Client take-up of electronic documentation increases week-on-week as the benefits of having documents sent straight to your desktop are realised.
“We have thousands of motor policy holders – and this is increasing as we introduce new products. Therefore it’s vital we have solutions like Open Print Manager, to improve client service but also our bottom line.”
Simon Hughes, Sales and Marketing Director, Open GI, commented: “Since the legislation for electronic motor insurance certificates came into force we have seen an unprecedented increase in the number of brokers contracting for our document fulfilment solutions. The key driver being documents can be issued to clients at the click of a button without time consuming administration. In the current economic climate, this will have a massive impact on our brokers. According to our latest figures, we estimate firms could save up to £36,000 per annum on print and postage costs.”
