CII Accreditation Hat Trick for Open GI Product Clinics

Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII)

Open GI’s popular Product Clinic events have been accredited by the CII for the third year running, enabling brokers to receive valuable CPD points.

The new series kicks off in the UK in March, with newly designed sessions on office productivity and e-commerce. This is the fourth consecutive year of these successful events with content being delivered to over 1,250 brokers in 80 locations.

Product Clinics are free-of-charge one day events designed to help brokers get the most out of their trading system. Key networking opportunities will be available throughout the day, helping delegates gain extra technical and industry knowledge. Expert trainers and consultants will also be on hand to demonstrate the advantages of the software in a live environment, as well as delivering a new Top Tip hour.

Accreditation has been secured for a third year due to the CII’s assessment of Product Clinic content and the value received by brokers who attend. 15 CII Continuous Professional Development (CPD) credits are available to each delegate, in addition to free system training.

Scot Grimmer, Broker Academy Manager, CII, said: “We are pleased to accredit Open GI Product Clinics for a third year running as we believe their events deliver outstanding added value for brokers, in-line with the current CII training programme. Our event accreditation scheme is all about making CPD accessible for all brokers and bringing knowledge and competence into the regions. As well as Product Clinics, the CII provides CPD event accreditation for a variety of other seminars and conferences in the UK.”

Simon Hughes, Sales and Marketing Director, Open GI, said: “Product Clinics are extremely popular and generate thought-provoking system discussions amongst brokers that attend. The events are all about providing invaluable advice on how to utilise your system to increase efficiency and achieve long term cost savings. To have the CII accredit the events for a third year running is an added bonus for brokers as it contributes to their professional development as well as increasing their bottom line.”
