The Situation
Established in 1995 with over 100 staff, Academy Insurance Services Ltd is an independent broker fulfilling the needs of over 86,000 customers across its branch network throughout the South East of England.
With a successful portfolio of Personal Lines products accounting for approximately 80% of its business, Academy is proud of its high customer retention rate. To build on this success, Academy sought to enhance the customer experience through efficient business practices and high levels of personal service, as well as grow its local SME business.
The Solution
Academy needed a trusted technology partner to work with them to fully understand their strategic objectives and help them to introduce new products and developments in response to industry requirements.
As a valued customer of Open GI, an extensive Process Review was conducted to evaluate how workflow and business practices could be improved by using the latest products and services. As a consequence, Open GI, through its Extended Support Services, maintains and supports all of the IT infrastructure for Academy. This includes the Core Back-Office which incorporates the Open Suite of products, Info Centre and SMS Text Messaging solution. To aid Academy in growing its SME business, the Open GI’s Open Trader solution is being utilised.
